Boot-strap vintner bottles gems

Article Abstract:

Robert Mueller began his career in winemaking in 1977, and in 1991, he opened a winery for custom-crush clients. By 1995, he had made enough money to focus on his own label, and his first wine earned a score of 91. Mueller says that he always tries new things within his basic routine, and has consistently produced outstanding Chardonnay.

Hitting the jackpot in Napa Valley

Article Abstract:

Dave Miner of Miner Family Vineyards was president of Oakville Ranch Vineyards before and a partner at Oracle Software before working with the The Miner Family Vineyards. Though the vineyard is in Cabernet territory, their first 3 releases are outstanding 1997 Chardonnays. Miner concentrates on low yields and careful winemaking.

Small size the key to success as Napa vintner releases three outstanding wines

Article Abstract:

Winemaker August Briggs leases space at Honig Cellars in Napa Valley to make his excellent Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Chardonnay wines. Briggs has worked for large California wineries and began making his own wines in 1995 on a small scale.
