Mixing wine with family drama at DRC

Lalou Bize-Leroy left DRC amid controversy recently. She was accused of having allowed DRC's top wine to find its way into the gray market, where it was sold at low prices. Bize-Leroy has a successful career as a wine merchant and has her own competing winery near DRC.

The Burgundy wines of Louis Latour are lighter than others, but the light concentration of tannins and fruits produce delicate and delicious wines. Latour discusses his winemaking methods, and the results of a vertical tasting of Corton-Granceys are given.

Article Abstract:

The 1991 Beaujolais Nouveau is down in price, and the vintage is excellent. The Mommessin Beaujolais Nouveau is particularly good, and prices will be between $6 and $8 this year, as opposed to $10 last year. As a result, sales are up.
