Produttori del Barbaresco: Piedmont's cooperative winery makes top-notch values

Article Abstract:

Produttori del Barbaresco, a small growers' cooperative winery in Barbaresco, produces some of the region's biggest and best-priced wines in the region. Founded in 1958, the cooperative, which consists of 56 growers who farm 242 acres of vineyards, implements a system of paying its members according to the quality of their crop rather than just their quantity, which ensures a consistent production of outstanding wines.
