Piedmont's 2003 vintage beats the heat

Article Abstract:

The 2003 Nebbiolo wines of Piedmont have turned out to be excellent vintage wines with the 2003 Barolos and the 2003 Barbarescos being wonderfully fruity and exotic reds. This is an unexpected, pleasant surprise since wine producers were initially skeptical about the quality of the 2003 vintages due to overexposure of the grapes to the sun in 2003.
