Rain, rain, go away

Article Abstract:

White wines from Burgundy, France in 1993, particularly those from Cote d'Or, were bland and lean compared with the region's red wines. The white wines' inferior quality was the result of inclement weather and unfavorable growing conditions. More flavorful and more full-bodied Chardonnays, however, were produced in Pouilly-Fuisse in the southern Macon region of Burgundy.
