Seafish training

Article Abstract:

The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) will be changing the way it supports the delivery of training to the seafood industry, by gradually moving away from funding of Group Training Associations towards the provision of 100% direct financial assistance towards training by FY 2010. The three-year plan allots 525,000 pounds sterling per year for training and delivery. Seafish will refund the trainee or the employer upon successful completion of the training, provided they supply evidence of receipted course fees.
