The age of Riesling

Article Abstract:

The Schloss Schonborn winery was established in 1349, and its cellars has survived four major European wars. It recently held a tasting of Rieslings dating back as far as 1893, and the 1971 and 1915 vintages were especially good. Some vintages may be available in US wine shops, but the older ones are only likely to show up at commercial auctions.
