Tom Seaver

Article Abstract:

Tom Seaver who led the underdog New York Mets in the miraculous World Series championship in 1969 and he was a pitcher in the baseball team, and he compares viticulture to a baseball season, where one has to do one's homework and get the work done on time in the grape growing process. He believes that wine is a food, and he would like to taste something different every day.

Stanley Hoffman

Article Abstract:

Stanley Hoffman, a successful cardiologist who is considered the godfather of modern Central Coast wine industry was the first to plant vines on Paso Roble's west side, which at the time was considered unsuitable for wine grapes. The vineyards he planted in the early '60s were arguably Central Coast's first to grow Bordeaux and Burgundy wines.

Dinner a la Lumiere

Rob Feenie opened his Lumiere restaurant in 1995, and has since the become one of the most popular chefs in Vancouver. The article provides a brief overview of Feenie's career. Feenie also shares recipes and wine suggestions at the end of the article.
