The onus of allergic diseases, especially food allergies and the role of dietitians on the dare discussed. The significant impact of allergic diseases on the child's and family's quality of life is examined along with the vital role that dietitians play in improving diet to alleviate allergies.

Mitochondrial diseases - are there nutritional concerns?

The nutrient effects on mitochondrial gene expression and mitochondrial disease are discussed. The important role of nuclear generated factors on mitochondrial genes is examined and further research on the same is suggested.
