Willie Nelson organized the original Farm Aid Concert and worked behind the scenes to support American farms that were devastated due to the droughts in 1985. After twenty years from its origin, Farm Aid in Massachusetts runs as a nonprofit organization with a full time staff that helps tracking farm policy, networking with activist group, and maintaining a 24-hour hotline for farmers in crisis.
