Health care in Chile

Article Abstract:

Employee medical care in Chile is obtained through membership with any of its two systems. Fondo Nacional de Salud, representing the public system, renders medical treatment through public hospitals, medical centers and registered physicians. The private system, which is operated by the Institucion de Salud Previsional, is done through private medical insurance companies. Growth in membership with the private system is foreseen despite the increase in the cost of medicinal care.

Joyce's will

Article Abstract:

Contentious issues rooted in the conditions of James Joyce's life and literary practices continue to stalk the inheritance of his property. These intellectual property rights issues raise fundamental ethical questions on the nature and limits of privacy in relation to the state. Joyce's ambivalence towards the English law, which he later invoked in order to bequeath his will, is echoed in Stephen Joyce's legal pursuits.
