The NUTRITIONtracker

Article Abstract:

The NUTRITIONtracker from MAGNAtracker Co is a black and white magnetic pyramid that features the Food Guide Pyramid's six food groups and the recommended serving size for each. It contains 28 food picture magnets that depict such healthful foods as yogurt, milk, dried beans, chicken, broccoli and cold cereal. However, the educational appeal of NUTRITIONtracker is somewhat diminished due to limited choice of food picture magnets, not to mention the fact that the foods depicted in the magnets are generally perceived as very expensive.
