Article Abstract:

Summit Dimension Products LLC manufactures moulder blanks and white oak edge-glued panels for domestic and European cabinet and furniture companies. The Summit rough mill uses a predryer and computer-controlled dry kilns to process 5 mil bd ft of white oak annually. Automated SII Dry Kilns allow the 90x50-ft predryer to control the lumber drying process. The mill's inspection stations mark lumber defects before panel sizing operations take place.
