Discussed here is Bethel, Maine, which is supposed to have at least seven seasons - mud, spring, bug, summer, fall, deer, and winter. Bethel has always drawn lovers of the outdoors and straddling the Sunday River, just a few miles from Bethel, the Artist's Bridge is reputed to be the state's most painted and photographed covered bridge.

The war on mosquitoes
Article Abstract:
Mosquitoes are the world's biggest killer and epidemics of diseases caused by mosquitoes occurred in the United States before their virtual eradication. New England has set up control boards to combat diseases caused by mosquitoes and their work is described.
