Battle continues for disabled military retirees

Article Abstract:

The ban on concurrent receipt prevents veterans from drawing both military retirement benefits and VA disability compensation and of all retired retirees, military retired veterans are the only group required to waive their retirement pay in order to receive disability pay. The US senators are fighting for full concurrent receipt on behalf of those who have fought for the nation.

Is the ban still in effect. I have been told that a phase in of benefits for Va comp and retired pay is in effect.

Americans owed more than $2 trillion in consumer debt in August 2004, of which three quarters of a trillion is owed on credit cards and revolving credit. Debt for many people is a symptom, as most money issues are tackled from a technical point of view, but that does not always fix the underlying problems and causes.

Entrepreneurs in the US believe that outsourcing is not the bottom-line boon for many companies and it is not as profitable as it sounds. The ill effects of outsourcing jobs, including joblessness, over dependence on other countries, are discussed.
