Rosemaling, or the scrollwork painting of decorative flowers and leaves, began in Norway in the 1700s, and eventually was brought to the US by Norwegian painters who moved to the Midwest in the 1800s. Exhibition details and information on some of the leading rosemaling artists are presented.

Weather vanes were important on early Midwestern farms since they often helped predict any change in the weather. Although weather vanes are no longer needed for their weather-predicting abilities, they are still valued as folk art. Weather vane sources and prices are presented.
