Chez Tournon: a homage: in the 1940's, 50's and 60's, Paris was a magnet for black American writers

Cafe Tournon was the gathering place in the 1950s and 1960s for a group of African American writers that included Richard Wright, James Baldwin and Chester Himes. A visit to Le Tournon and other cafes of the area is described.

'Harvey' featured Jimmy Stewart as a man who never gave up his invisible childhood pal - a 6-foot-3 rabbit. The 1950 film is fondly remembered by a producer whose brother is his 'Harvey'. They are remaking the movie together.
