Federal funding for public broadcasting

Article Abstract:

Supporters have stated that public broadcasting serves the public interest and deserves taxpayers support, whereas critics believe that it is time for public television and radio to pay their own way. Representatives Nita M. Lowey (Democrat-New York) and Ginny Brown-Waite (Republican-Florida) have given their opinions on the federal funding for public broadcasting.

The congress of today enjoys spending and the children of today will become a total broke and may have to live lower standard of living if they are not controlled the proper way. The politicians and the congress should be aware that at times of crisis, future disasters, wars and attacks by the terrorists fiscal responsibility has to be shouldered by them.
