A newspaper and magazine photographer describes her experience in Maine's North Woods where she traveled and photographed for eight years discovering the natural world as it became his best assignment of his career. The quietness of the place attracts the people to camp, fish, climb, cycle, kayak, canoe, raft, and swim.
