Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) a new rapid transit system in North America is described that combines the automobiles direct destination-to-destination convenience and privacy with public transit's capacity to reduce pollution, unclog traffic, and serve low-income communities. Details of the prototypes of PRT system and its features are elaborated.
