Works by composer Richard Rodgers are still being produced more than 50 years after they were written, and their upbeat focus is helpful in the current societal conditions. The positive nature contrasts greatly with the dark nature and lifestyle of Rodgers, who was an alcoholic and suffered from depression.

Times Square: bring back New Yorkers - and sex

The 'clean up' of Times Square has given it a chain-store, chain-restaurant feel that is fine for tourists, but has turned off New Yorkers. Ways to revive the theater district should include a return of adult sexuality shows.
