A collection 'Boy's Life' photographs featuring its readers from throughout its 85-year history is presented. The collection contains photos that date back to 1919 and continue through 1991. Each photo reflects the styles of their times, with many of the subjects enjoying an outdoor activity.

When Boy's Life was born

Boy's Life magazine, which was first issued on March 1, 1911, has covered events of national and personal interest for 85 years. The magazine, which originally cost a nickel, featured Peary's discovery of the North Pole and the Wright Brothers' first flight.
