Setting sail in the New World: Jamestown's Susan Constant

Article Abstract:

The Susan Constant is one of three restored ships which are part of the historic recreation of the Jamestown colony. This is the second reproduction of the ship that brought colonists to Virginia in 1607. The history of the ship and the colony are discussed.

New hope for spinal cord injuries

Article Abstract:

About 10,000 people sustain spinal cord injuries each year, but new drugs and technologies may one day prevent paralysis or help people with spinal cord injuries recover from paralysis. For example, scientists are learning to make nerve cells regenerate.
