It has been suggested the idea of a Celtic civilisation has been used by nationalists in Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Brittany in France, and Cornwall in England. But they do use the language of their ancient forbearers. Archaeologist Simon James has been castigated for claiming the Celts did not exist. He suggested it was an invention from the 18th century. Ancient pieces of Celtic style art have been found in other parts of Europe. Some of the ancient traditions were first established during the 18th century. The Celtic language was used during the first century BC in western Europe.

Do Americans expect bloodless war?

US military operations since the Vietnam War have had fewer casualties. This may have led many people to unreasonably expect fewer casualties in all subsequent US military operations.
