Stirred not shaken: Jason Epstein on the art of mixing a perfect martini

Article Abstract:

A great martini begins with a thin, cylindrical glass without any stem. The glass has to place wet in a freezer, along with the pitcher from which the martini will be poured. A preferable gin is Bombay which is chilled in a freezer. Other key ingredients are ice and a good, dry vermouth.
