TOPOFF-3: Preparation for terror
Article Abstract:
Several government and private agencies attended the Department of Homeland Security's four-day terrorism preparedness exercise Top Officials (TOPOFF) 3 that took place on April 4-8, 2005, in New London, Connecticut. This exercise series is designed to strengthen the nation's capacity to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from, terrorist attacks involving weapons of mass destruction.

150,000 members and families from Florida, Texas and Kansas at the National Mall on 29th May 2004, witnessed the dedication of the World War II Memorial. On this day, Americans said 'thank you' to 400,000 who laid down their lives and 16 million people who answered the nation's call.
