A research and administration doctor at the Veterans Health Administration discusses the causes of alcohol addiction and suggests treatment strategies to get out of the bad habit that has killed more than one-hundred thousand people in the US. He is of the opinion that more men than women are at risk and adds that while moderate alcohol drinking may be beneficial, one should use medical advise prudently in this regard.
