Athletes of the 1990s merely reflect the heroic attributes of physical vitality and unconquerable spirit on the surface. Yet beneath this superficial characteristics, modern athletes lack the ethical uprightness necessary to qualify them as real heroes.

A new vision of livelihood: where does our work fit in the cosmos?

Americans should develop a new interpretation of work different from its traditional meaning of activities done in exchange for money. The new interpretation of work should refer to activities which give enjoyment and benefit society.
