AGA says farewell to executive director Charlie Culkin

Article Abstract:

AGA's longest serving executive director Charles W. Culkin, is complimented for his leadership qualities, contribution and affection to the job in all respects on the eve of his farewell. Charles has always been most proud of Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting (CEAR) Program, which was his first initiative as executive director.

Meet AGA's next National President: Jeffrey S. Hart

Article Abstract:

Jeffrey S. Hart, CGFM, CFE, will take office on July 1 2006 as AGA's 57th National President speaks about the affect AGA has made in his professional life. Hart believes that AGA membership has positively affected his professional life in many ways and building personal relationship of all kinds is the most important thing he has learnt from AGA.

FASAB business-Not so usual

Article Abstract:

The chairman of the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) describes its role in the federal financial reporting projects, namely, Accounting for Social Insurance and Accounting for Federal Oil and Gas Resources. A detailed understanding of the processes in the execution of the projects is described.
