GMAP program keeps Washington government accountable

Article Abstract:

The implementation of the Government Management Accountability and Performance (GMAP) program in Washington is discussed. The program is designed to review performance results that can be used by leaders to make decisions. In order to improve services to Washington residents, follow-up plans are developed by state agencies involved in GMAP meetings.

Pilot program helps Connecticut's homeless

Connecticut's Supportive Housing Pilot Program is discussed. The program aims to address the revolving relationship between homelessness and prison. It aids people cycling through prison and shelters with housing and other services.
