Retail wheeling

Article Abstract:

California plans to permit its large industrial concerns to choose alternative energy providers as a measure of deregulating the electricity industry. The proposed system will help to solve the problem of rising electricity cost, though small consumers will have to wait till the year 2002 to choose new suppliers for their energy needs. However, experts feel that the new plan will have a negative impact on environment.
