The waiting game: election '98

Article Abstract:

US Sen Dianne Feinstein has not declared her intentions for the 1998 gubernatorial elections. However, Feinstein has stated that she has began to love her being a senator and preferred to stay in that position. Considering her would-be rivals namely, Al Checchi, Dennis Peron, Dan Lungren and several others, a statewide poll revealed that Feinstein was leading the race. Her being the only woman running for that position is a big advantage because it was the same factor that won her in the senate elections.
