Workers Compensation 2004

Article Abstract:

After years of wrangling, the California State's $18.9 billion workers compensation insurance program has undergone another change, but the compromise is enormously complicated and partly dependent on regulations yet to be written. The highlights of the new workers compensation law 2004 proposed by Senator Charles Poochigian are discussed.

Article Abstract:

Propositions 62, sponsored by education groups and consortium of business is open to address the courts objections. In response to this, the Republican and Democratic parties got an alternative in the form of proposition 60.
