Article Abstract:

Elsburgh Clarke is the director of the emergency department at Milford Memorial Hospital in Delaware and his main hobby is photography. Clarke especially enjoys photographing the drama of emergency room procedures. Clarke took approx. 15,000 photos while working at the Pomona Valley Medical Center in California. Clarke has encountered more resistance from administrators and staff in the Philadelphia, PA, area than he did in California.

Doctors got a brand new bag

Article Abstract:

A diminished need for medical specialists has influenced doctors such as pulomonologist Whitney Addington to consider switching to general practice and internal medicine instead. Board certification is not required for this change, since most physicians trained in general practice before they specialized. However, training will help doctors become familiar with the technological aspects of modern family practice and internal medicine.

Cookbook insurance

Article Abstract:

MacLeod's Restaurant in Bucksport, ME, wanted to provide its employees with health insurance but rising health insurance costs stimulated owner George McLeod to devise an innovative way to pay for the insurance. Seven employees operate the family-style restaurant one Sunday each month and the revenue generated, after taxes and food costs, goes to buy health insurance. The employees share any profits after the insurance is paid for.
