For timely decision making: a capital equipment acquisition process

Article Abstract:

The procedure hospital management should follow to gather essential information for financial decision making in the acquisition of capital equipment is presented. The procedure involves 33 steps which lead to a projected income statement that includes the capital decision making analytical model's net present value, internal rate of return and payback period.
