Painful realities

Article Abstract:

The health care industry is in a time of market-driven change, and during this transition there are many challenges. While many health care industries merge, individual power will be lost to stronger partnerships. It is important to remain in touch with the needs of the customers, as well as public perception of the health systems. However, regardless of popularity problems, it is essential to meet the needs of the community in a new social and political structure.

Cuba care

Article Abstract:

Cuba's healthcare system is profiled. Fidel Castro claims that the country has the developing world's best doctors, hospitals and research institutes, but the system is desperately short of funds. There are shortages of medicines, clothing and food, and many doctors drive cabs to earn enough to live on. Companies such as Servimed offer relatively low-cost care to foreigners.
