Rest breaks reduce injury risks

Article Abstract:

According to the survey conducted by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, rest breaks helps workers to be more relaxed and calm on the job and helps to enhance productivity and leave the workers more physically and mentally refreshed. The relevant details regarding the benefits of rest brakes are discussed.

Proactive approach may reduce workers' shoulder injuries

Article Abstract:

Workers, who are likely to experience shoulders, miss around 30 working days on average, which is far less than injuries related to back. Precautionary steps for identifying symptoms related to shoulder injuries, are outlined.

Workplace injuries decline; MSD injury culprits

According to the Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 1.3 million injuries and illnesses in private industry that required lost worktime beyond the day of the incident in 2004.
