Assessing the feasibility of risk contracted HMOs for the elderly: applying the marketing concept

Article Abstract:

The success of risk contracted health maintenance organizations (HMOs) for the elderly is dependent on several key factors. The government must strive to make risk contracted care for the elderly attractive to HMOs which are profit-oriented organizations. On the other hand, HMOs must try to boarden the list of physicians which they contract to provide the elderly with a wide choice of medical services.

Booming business, minimal marketing: the child care industry

Article Abstract:

The growing number of working couples and working mothers has stimulated considerable growth in the child care services industry. Moreover, analysts note that child care centers need minimal marketing and rely heavily on their reputations for good service. Nonetheless, several marketing techniques for child care centers is presented.
