Take some days off, why don't you? Endogenous sick leave and pay

Article Abstract:

The necessity of sick leave in the presence of endemic infectious diseases is described. The external disease transmission, the productivity of the ill, the discomfort when ill on sick leave and reductions in the work discomfort of the ill are the considerations in the sick leave period when the pay is greater than the healthy working wage.

State health insurance market reforms and access to insurance for high-risk employees

Article Abstract:

A study on examining the effects of state regulations on small insurance groups providing insurance coverage to high-risk workers, is presented. These packages of reforms included, both guaranteed issue of some products, and some form of rate variance restriction.
