Case 15-2007: A 20-year-old woman with asthma and cardiorespiratory arrest

Article Abstract:

A case study of 20-year-old woman with a history of severe asthma with multiple exacerbations diagnosed at 4 years of age, but not following any environmental and medication regimens is presented. The patient was pronounced dead shortly after arrival to emergency rooms due to frequent use of nebulized beta-agonists which was indicator of the poor control of her asthma, resulting in her death.
