A structural equation model examining whether the longitudinal data of the undernourished children in Pangalengan, Indonesia, align with the theoretical model with regard to the mental delay of undernourished children is presented. Various explanations for the intellectual limitations of undernourished children are considered.

Research designed to test the validity of a conceptual model of the intellectual delay of undernourished children is presented. The benefits generally obtained from interactions between the child and the physical and social environment to gain knowledge about the world are restricted in the case of undernourished children.

A preliminary test of a developmental model for the study of undernourished children in Indonesia

Article Abstract:

Research involving structural equation modeling of a restricted version of the conceptual model of the impact of micronutrient and energy supplementation on growth and development in undernourished children is presented. There was found to be a substantial negative link between physical activity and exploration of objects.
