A role for LEDGF/p75 in targeting HIV DNA integration

Article Abstract:

HIV integration in cells depleted for LEDGF/p75 is presented. The integration showed that LEDGF/p75 is the first example of a cellular protein controlling the location of HIV integration in human cells as the integration was less frequent in transcription units and genes regulated by LEDGF/p75 and more frequent in GC-rich DNA.

Cyclophilin A modulates The sensivity of HIV-1 to host restriction factors

Article Abstract:

The sensitivity to restriction factors that is regulated by cyclophilin A, which is cell protein that bids the HIV-1 capsid protein is examined. Findings indicate that HIV-1 has been appointed to host cell protein to undermine restriction factors expressed by human cells.

HIV-1 and Ebola virus: the gateway driver nabbed

Article Abstract:

The author discusses the publications on Tsg101 protein which is a part of the protein trafficking machinery in the healthy heart. Results indicate that HIV-1 and Ebola viruses subvert this protein to exit a cell for renewing their cycles of infection.
