Article Abstract:

The Brooklyn Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital used an innovative approach to deal with the problem of boarders. Orientation is as simple as 1-2-3

Article Abstract:

Each year hospitals waste much money on failed job orientations, so these should always be planned carefully ahead of time. The person performing the orientatons should have specific job knowledge and a positive attitude. Ridicule towards new employees indicates an incompetent management. Procedures should be demonstrated and repeated, and questions answered as needed.
