Alveolar adenoma of the lung: a clinicopathologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular study of an unusual case

Article Abstract:

The description of an alveolar adenoma of the lung with 3 previously unreported findings is given. Further it is analyzed that multiple chromosomal loci in both the epithelial and mesenchymal components of the lesion, show microsatellite alterations and loss of heterozygosity in the former but not in the latter.

Primary carcinoid tumor of the prostate with concurrent adenocarcinoma: a case report

Article Abstract:

Neuroendocrine differentiation is exhibited by prostatic adenocarcinomas as demonstrated by immunohistochemistry. A case of a primary carcinoid occurring synchronously with a conventional adenocarcinoma in the prostrate of a 66-year old man is presented.
