Assessing constipation

Article Abstract:

Constipation is particularly common in older people, although many children also experience it. There are several factors that can interact to produce constipation including fluid intake, dietary intake, which has a direct effect on bowel function, medication and immobility, which is believe to be a contributory factor.

Understanding the structure and function of the skin

Article Abstract:

The physiological structure that makes up the human skin is described. Various functions of skin, including body temperature regulation, protection of the internal organs, stimuli receptor and fluid absorption and excretion are described.
