New Year message
Article Abstract:
Electrical contractors have had a difficult year in 1991. The demise of manufactuing industry together with the failure of many commercial businesses is likely to continue to reduce the work available. The Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) has been lobbying for the government to support manufacturing industry in Britain. The ECA is also working to improve conditions of contract, to inform members of new technological developments and business opportunities. It continues its work on improving safety and the status of standards.

Research psychologists should include more patients with comorbidities in their studies. Many psychologists are urged to practice evidence-based medicine, but many patients in scientific studies do not resemble patients in the community.
