Can a state society refuse a transfer of a member in good standing?

Article Abstract:

Peer review, according to the American Dental Association (ADA), is used to settle issues involving patients, dentists or third-party payers such as quality of care. It is not unethical or contrary to ADA Bylaws if a state dental society requires its members to participate in the peer review process. The ADA Bylaws for the peer review process is discussed.
