Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma presenting with spinal involvement

Article Abstract:

Two case reports of patients with spinal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma illustrate the difficulty in distinguishing sciatica from a spinal tumor. Even CT scans and bone scans may not be helpful. MRI scans of the spine are probably the most useful diagnostic technique.

Subclinical gut inflammation in spondyloarthropathy patients is associated with upregulation of the E-cadherin/catenin complex

Levels of E-cadherin/catenin complex increase in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. E-cadherin/catenin complex is a group of proteins that cells use to attach to another cell.
