Danazol

Article Abstract:

Danazol is a synthetic steroid hormone that inhibits pituitary gonadotrophins, and combines androgenic activity with antioestrogenic and antiprogestogenic activity. Pharmaceutical description of the drug is presented by considering its classifications, indications, contradictions, cautions, common side effects, interactions, nursing considerations, and patient teaching.
