Delegates get council reports for AMA annual meeting

Article Abstract:

An outline is presented of issues to be discussed at the annual meeting of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association in June 1992. For instance, the Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs presents eight reports, including urging physicians to recommend second opinions on patient care, provide care for the indigent and honor confidentiality of minors who seem mature. The Council on Medical Service recommends, among other concerns, that peer review focus more on education rather than punishment.
